Shaundra Daily, Associate Professor, Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering, University of Florida
Dr. Daily will give an ECE 110 Chalk Talk followed by a short discussion of her research into affective computing. Affective computing researchers utilize pattern analysis, signal processing, and machine learning to extract affective information from physiology, facial expressions, speech, body posture, and other visible and "invisible" signals that human beings express. Dr. Daily will present specific software applications that she and her team are developing.
