Inverse Problems in Applied Topology Topological Data Analysis provides novel methods for extracting features from geometric data structures. Questions of interpretability and discriminativity on the side of data analysis translate into questions of invertibility of the underlying mathematical operations. In this talk, I'll discuss some of the work that has been done on these inverse problems and some directions of ongoing research. LUNCH: 11:45 a.m. SEMINAR: 12:00
