Performance and Technology
What happens when you mix engineering students with dance students and tell them to put on a show?
Video by Veronique Koch
Students in "Performance and Technology," a course co-taught by faculty members from electrical and computer engineering, art and dance (Martin Brooke, Matthew Kenney and Thomas DeFrantz, respectively) explored how STEM and art can intersect to create interactive new modes of expression.
Sometimes it meant that engineers had to leave their comfort zone—coding and building—and actually take the stage.
See how they did in the video below or read about the course on the Duke Research Blog.
